This light switch cover plate is crafted from Bocote (BEAU COAT EE) ... Mexico. Use the existing screws from the old plate for mounting. The plate is thicker than the thin plastic ones you get but it is not overly so. A clear finish was applied to show off the natural dark striped wood.
