These candlesticks are made from Stratawood (man-made). Stratawood is made from many species of wood all glued together to make a whole piece. When crafted it splits easily so there are small "chunks" taken out of the wood. This does nothing more that add to it's old world charm. These are perfect for the romantic dining table.
